West Berks Lib Dems head to national Party Conference

West Berkshire Liberal Democrats this week headed to the seaside to take part in the Liberal Democrat national party conference, taking place at Brighton.

District Councillors and local party members were able to take part in a 'Climate Change Clinic', and talk to representatives from the Electoral Commission about reforms to election law which will come into force for next May's local elections.

Councillor Tony Vickers spoke in the 'Fairer, Simpler, Greener' tax debate, where the motion to tax environmental pollution and resource usage was adopted.
