Taxpayers foot the cinema bill under the Tories

All taxpayers, rather than cinema users, will pay for the new Newbury cinema the Conservatives have announced. Responding to Roger Hunneman's question at Executive the Conservatives have announced that they will bin the Lib Dem plan to fund the new cinema from a small evening parking charge at the Kennet Centre car park, next to the proposed cinema.
