Lib Dems have fought for a new cinema

Responding to news that the Conservatives are launching a General Election advert to be shown in UK cinemas, David Rendel said:

"At the very time the Conservative candidate is doing his best to block the plans for a new cinema in West Berkshire, his leader is busy launching an election advert which can only be seen in cinemas.

"This is yet another reason why we need to bring a cinema back to our area. On the doorstep, people are telling me that the more they hear from Michael Howard's Conservatives, the more determined they are to vote Liberal Democrat. So the sooner they see these adverts the better!"
