West Berkshire's Liberal Democrats have today launched their Manifesto for the 2011 local council elections.
West Berkshire's Liberal Democrats are determined to work tirelessly to protect and improve your Council's services and our environment. Our ability to be innovative and our determination to listen, and act on what you say, is why the Liberal Democrats should lead West Berkshire Council from May 2011.
These key objectives underline our commitment to the people of West Berkshire. We will:
- Reverse the savage Tory cuts to the Youth Service and to Day Care Centres for the elderly and vulnerable;
- Fix the roads and the potholes, getting it right first time, and expand the highway resurfacing programme - delivering decent roads for West Berkshire;
- Keep Council tax increases below the rate of inflation.
