Lib Dems are welcoming wardens to help increase safety in Thatcham
Councillor Owen Jeffery is this week looking forward to welcoming the promised neighbourhood wardens onto the streets of Thatcham. Speaking at the beginning of the first full week of November, Councillor Jeffery commented:
"West Berkshire Council's administration has repeatedly promised us that wardens will be hitting Thatcham's streets at the beginning of November. Therefore I look forward to meeting and working with the new wardens in the very near future, and I am sure Thatcham residents will join me in offering them a warm welcome to our town - after all, they have been keenly awaited for a very long time!"
