Mock elections pack for schools now available

Today the West Berkshire Liberal Democrat Councillors welcomed the re-launch of the Mock Elections Website 2005 as a resource for local schools to run mock elections this year.
Cllr Owen Jeffrey, Deputy Leader of West Berkshire Council, said:
"We very much encourage young people's engagement in the democratic process by participating in Mock Elections at schools.
"Youngsters are able to learn about the issues and processes that affect their lives, helping them to participate in the process when they are older.
"This is an excellent resource from the Liberal Democrats that we very much welcome."
